SEND Social Story — Online Friendship Boundaries
An easy-read social story that helps SEND children understand the difference between an online friend and a real-life friend, and what is OK to share with each.
What's included
Many SEND children find online friendships emotionally meaningful and are sometimes more trusting than peers. This social story explains, in calm and concrete language, that an online friend is not the same as a real-life friend, why we do not share private information or photos, and that asking a trusted adult is always allowed. Includes a simple traffic-light rule for what to share and what not to share.
