How to Report on Pinterest
How to report harmful pins, boards, or accounts on Pinterest that may be harmful to children and young people.
Report a pin
On a pin, tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the pin image. Select 'Report pin'. Choose the reason that best describes your concern — for child safety, select 'Nudity or pornography', 'Graphic violence', or 'Hateful activities'. For content that sexualises or exploits children, always select the child safety category.
Report an account
Visit the profile of the account you want to report. Tap the three-dot menu on their profile page and select 'Report account'. Select the reason for the report and provide any additional context that will help Pinterest's trust and safety team.
Report a board
Navigate to the board you want to report. Tap the three-dot menu and select 'Report board'. Choose the appropriate reason. If a board appears to be collecting or promoting harmful content related to children, select the most relevant child safety category.
Submit a report for child sexual abuse material
If you encounter child sexual abuse material on Pinterest, report it directly using Pinterest's reporting tool and also report to the Internet Watch Foundation (iwf.org.uk) and CEOP (ceop.police.uk). Do not share, download, or forward the content.
