How to Report on Roblox

How to report inappropriate behaviour, content, or messages within Roblox games and the Roblox platform.

1

Use the in-game report feature

While in a Roblox experience (game), click the Roblox menu icon in the top left corner. Select the 'Report' tab. You can report a player for specific abusive behaviour or report the experience itself if the content is inappropriate.

2

Select the player or content to report

Choose the player from the list or select 'Report Experience' to flag the game. If reporting a player, select the category that best describes the issue, such as 'Inappropriate chat', 'Bullying', or 'Asking for personal information'.

3

Report from a profile or chat

Outside of a game, you can report users by visiting their profile, clicking the three-dot menu, and selecting 'Report Abuse'. In chat, click the gear icon next to the message and select 'Report'. Include as much detail as possible.

4

Provide a clear description

Write a brief, factual description of what happened. Include relevant details such as what was said, when it occurred, and why you are concerned. Avoid exaggeration — clear, honest reports are actioned more quickly.

5

Submit and review account settings

Submit your report. Roblox's moderation team will investigate. In the meantime, review your child's account settings — ensure the account age is set correctly, chat restrictions are appropriate, and only approved contacts can message your child.

This is general educational guidance, not professional advice. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 (UK) or 911 (US).
