Parent to platform
Message to a platform's support team
Generic reporting message to send to a social media, gaming, or messaging platform when their in-app report has not been enough.
When to use this template
Use when you have already used the in-app report function and want to send a written record by email or web form to the platform's support team.
Tone guidance
- Lead with "safeguarding report" in the subject so it routes correctly.
- Use the platform's own terms ("account", "username", "in-app report") so it lines up with their internal tools.
- Be specific about what action you are asking for — review, removal, suspension, escalation.
- Keep your tone professional. Platforms log everything and tone affects routing.
Template
